Why NANO-VAPOUR fog?

Our NanoVapour TECHNOLOGY creates a thick stream of fog of which most droplets are smaller than one micrometer. (Anything smaller than one micrometer is measured in nanometres.)

Because the droplets are nano-sized it behaves like gas. It stays suspended, drifting horisontally in the air until it makes contact with a surface where the disinfectant is deposited.

Our NanoVapour TECHNOLOGY ensures that a consistent microscopic thin layer of disinfectant is distributed against high walls & ceilings, into hidden corners behind and underneath equipment that would normally be impossible to reach.

FoggerTech is owned by Bertus van Schalkwyk CC, established in 1996 (Reg no: 1996/044133/23)


Bertus van Schalkwyk is an innovative engineer, project manager and businessman with a solid track record, living in Somerset West (South Africa) since 1993 where he is active and well known in the community.

In the early years of his career he worked as an electronics design engineer in the high-tech military, aviation and aerospace industry, designing state-of-the-art electronic equipment that were integrated into systems that had to withstand the harshest of environments, including space.

Later he became a Project Manager in the Defence Industry, responsible for contractual and financial matters related to several multi-million Rand projects while managing and motivating in-house teams as well as external contractors to deliver project milestones on time and within budget. This Project Management experience enabled Bertus to do a smooth transition into other sectors of business and industry.

In 2011 he accepted the position as Managing Director of a start-up company, Organic Water Solutions (Pty) Ltd and in 2015 as MD of Sigmacor Construction. He then redirected his energy to his own Project Management company, first focusing on construction (www.amavaprojects.co.za) and then adding electronic and mechanical engineering.
